Iran foreign minister in Doha meets Hamas leader
Hossein Amirabdollahian has arrived in the Qatari capital, his fourth visit in the past two and a half months, Al Jazeera reports.
The Iranian foreign minister met with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh to discuss the situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
According to Nasser Kanaani, spokesman of the Iranian foreign Ministry, Haniyeh said: “We are ready for a lasting ceasefire, but there is no way for negotiations under Israel’s attacks.”
At least 20 killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza: ministry
The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Bursh, has provided Al Jazeera with an update on the latest health care situation in Gaza.
He says 20 people have been killed, while 25 wounded people have been brought to hospitals across Gaza this morning.

First direct aid convoy from Jordan reaches Gaza
The first aid convoy to travel direct from Jordan to Gaza since the start of the war has delivered 750 metric tonnes of food to the Palestinian enclave, the UN World Food Programme has said.
“This crucial first step could pave the way for a more sustainable aid corridor through Jordan and allow for the delivery of more aid at scale,” it added.

We’re continuing the war to the end. It will continue until Hamas is destroyed – until victory … until all the goals we set are met: destroying Hamas, releasing our hostages and removing the threat from Gaza
Gaza death toll passes 20,000, says Hamas
At least 20,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the war began on 7 October, according to figures by the Hamas government’s media office.
Among those killed include about 8,000 children and 6,200 women, AFP reported that Hamas said.
