Social moral values of today’s human civilization started to develop many thousand years ago, after migration of human population to different corner of the world these social moral values evolved differently in each part, it resulted into different culture like western, Latin, African, and Arabian, central, east, south and south eastern Asian culture. Most of today human values are influenced by religion. Arabian, central, and south east Asian cultures are mostly influenced by Islam and south Asian culture are mostly influenced by Islam and Hinduism except some minor traditional culture . All the social moral values of Pakistani society are directly or indirectly influenced by Islam therefore extended family system and religiousness are the prominent feature of Pakistani society. Mutual respect, hospitality, honesty, integrity, decency, generosity and helping others are some of the important social moral value of Pakistan society. These social and moral values hold a central role in the positive development and progress of human civilization. But on the other hand some of the values are more on the negative side of implication.
One of the major drawbacks of these values is their static nature. Our social and moral values have not been evolved with the passage of time so they are not in very much accordance with the need of modern day society, instead of creating ease and happiness these are creating a lot of hurdle and difficulties. For example the condition or ways or the outer corner for helping other has not fixed, therefore this values has created a negative impact in our society, due to this values begging has tremendously increased in Pakistan, this easy source of income has made the people of Pakistan very much passive and everyone instead of doing hard work are tilt toward begging. The same is with the state of Pakistan which is running it affair on the same principal of begging,
The second value that has more negative impact than positive one is male dominant extended family system. This system mirror the male dominant era, it has created a lot of discrimination against women. The extend family system has taken all the independence and rights from the women, day after day women are marginalized and their role in society are limited inside the closed door of the house,
Many other social and moral values of Pakistan society have more negative aspect than the positive one, therefore these values should be evolved so they can have more positive aspect and they are in accordance with need of modern day world , some new and dynamic values should be introduce by replacing the old and static one so that they can be evolved in the future. according to the need of the time Although it takes years and years for the development of a social moral values but it not impossible
