Five months ago the ball game in Pakistan was as such that it was very obvious to predict the political future and certainty of general election in Pakistan,the powerful quarter especially the security establishment was in no mood of holding general election in Pakistan before the total destruction of of Imran khan and his party PTI anti establishment narrative and getting the country back into the track of economic stability. They were also after the uprooting of anti state elements gaining momentum in different parts of the country before transformation of power to civilian leadership through election.
Instead of stability the economic condition of the country changes from bad to worst under the caretaker setup backed by powerful military establishment, this deteriorated economic condition further increase the need for legitimate civilian government who could continue with IMF policies for the release of $3bn bailout package
Secondly the anti state sentiment increases among the people of Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and tribal areas despite the full force used by Pakistan army to curb it, this increased the need for the elected civilian government who could be handful in reducing the infringement of these people from the state
last but not the least despite the disintegration of PTI by force, censorship of mainstream media from airing the narrative of Imran khan ,abduction and imprisonment of PTI leaders and supporters ,detention of Imran khan himself in political cases , the popularity of the anti establishment narrative of Imran khan among the people of Pakistan kept on increasing. which compel the powerful military establishment that they can't check the popularity of the narrative by force. so they decide to hold a mange election on 8 February 2024.
Before the general election Imran khan was convicted in three consecutive cases and he was disqualified for 10 years from holding any public office , the supreme court take the bat symbol from PTIin historic controversial verdict, so PTI nominates took part in the election as independent candidate moreover these PTI backed Independent candidates were not allowed to do election campaign and the party was pushed into the electoral process after their hand and foots were tied.
On election date the polling started at 8 am and smoothly continued until 5 pm with out any major incident, except in few polling stations in which some irregularities and violence were reported which can be consider pretty normal keeping the track record of the magnitude of violence happened in past during polling dates of Pakistan in view. after 6 pm when result started coming out surprisingly PTIbacked independent candidates were leading in more than 130 NA constituencies and the winning margin between the PTI backed independent and the second most voted candidates were increasing until 10 pm when the result were slowed down in Punjab and Karachi but after 12 am midnight they were completely stopped. the next day when the result came out they were manipulated enough that PTI backed candidates were winning in less than 100 seats.

So the end result of all the election process was the will of the single powerful military establishment prevail over the votes of millions of voters in so called democratic process in democratic state. and the establishment selected PMLN is leading a coalition which will form government next week in Pakistan.
