After every general election held in Pakistan, allegation were made against security establishment for pre poll rigging and the manipulation of final result to favored their favorite candidate, therefore none of the general election held in 77 years history of Pakistan can called as free and fair which were accepted by all the parties except the one held in 1970.
The establishment try to repeat the same story in this election , they were doing pre poll rigging without conceal to favor Nawaz sharif, before the the general he was given a clean sheet from all the cases in which he was ousted from premiership in 2017,Imran Khan the only main opposition to Nawaz Sharif and the security establishment was convicted for thirty years of imprisonment in three different cases, he is also disqualified from holding of any public office for five years, his party PTI was left without any electoral symbol, so his candidate contest election as independent candidate, they were not allowed to hold any public campaign especially in Punjab and Karachi, the whole election were conduct in total partiality.
Unlike other elections this time the establishment was up against the party which is mostly very popular among youths, who are very well aware and ready to encounter any challenges inflicted upon them. when PTI was not allowed to hold public campaign they were doing virtual jalisas through different social media platform, when their leader was incarcerated and censored they use artificial intelligence to deliver his message in his own voice, so against all odds the enthusiastic PTI supporter not only cast their vote but stay in the polling station for safety of their votes as instructed by their party leaders , thus they make the life of establishment very hard to further manage the election during the polling date to give simple majority to Nawaz sharif, but the election result were delayed enough to snitches the simple majority form PTI backed independent candidates.
Due to this vigilant approach of PTI, almost two week after the election the establishment has not been able to complete the number game required for even a coalition government, almost all the parties except the favorites of establishment are holding country wide protest against the rigging in the election. In Balochistan the situation is more tense than rest of the country , reports of violence and murder are coming out in the wake of delay in election result , protesters have blocked all the main highways leading into and out of the province.
International media is reporting that establishment backed Nawaz Sharif fail to secure simple majority to form government and incarcerated Imran Khan has defeated the much more stronger establishment for the first time in the history of Pakistan. Commissioner Rawalpindi division resign from his post after self confession in rigging the election in his division against the PTI backed candidates, he also made allegation against chief election commissioner and chief justice of Pakistan in rigging the election, he seeks the public execution to himself and all those involved in rigging of the people mandate as punishment.
All the circumstance developed after the election are dragging the already fragile country further deep into crisis, the people with authority should learn from the history that political engineering is not going to help Pakistan in long-term matters and the hybrid democracy is dangerously affecting Pakistan integrity and economic stability therefore they should refrain from their role in political and economical matter and focus on their role specified in the constitution of Pakistan which is security and defense only. Instead of vengeance they should re announce the election result according to form 45 and respect the verdict given by the people and allow the majority winner party to form the government.
