five basic problems of Pakistan

In todays world there is no country in the world which is not  going through some kind of problems or  not facing any kind of challenges, in every country there are some issues some are  big while the other are minor  , in some country there are less issues while the other are having a bunch, but developed and happy nation are the those  who identifies the roots causes of the issues they are facing  and instead of  blaming others for them or seeking help from other they accept their own  mistakes and try to resolve them on their own.

From the very first day of independence there is no ending stories of Pakistan problem, almost 99% of these problems are the one which we created for ourselves, in this blog we will identify five major primary problems which are the root causes of all the secondary issues we are facing. We will discuss each of them in details on the coming blogs and identify solutions to these issues.

Ideological shortcoming:

The first major and most primary problem of Pakistan is the static ideology on the basis of which Pakistan of 1947 came into existence. the ideology of two nation theory and Islamic nationalization  , these types of hatred based ideologies and  pan nationalization will not sustain and prevail in  modern day world especially in place like subcontinent where there so much ethno lingual and religious diversity. Therefore we should  take a bitter pill about it.

Constitutional flaws:

the second most fundamental problem of Pakistan is the lack of proper inclusive and progressive constitution. there are many anomalies the constitution of 1973, it  has marginalized minorities, it has not properly define boundaries for every institution, it has not properly safeguard democratic norms ,  there is  too much room for amendments in the constitution. or otherwise  completely new constitution

Un balanced Civil military relationship:

due to  the ideology of hatred and delayed in making of the  constitution the military of Pakistan emerged  as the sole dominant power in Pakistan, the civil institution  are almost non existent in front of it. the military is ruling over Pakistan since independence this leads to weak government and civil institution and ultimately a weak pakistan,  due to this unbalanced sharing of power between civil and military establishment democracy has never progressed in Pakistan nor proper economic and progressive foreign policies have been made in Pakistan . it need total 180 degree turn in the status quo to balanced this power gap.

Extractive political institution:

al though Pakistan by name is parliamentary democracy but the political power remain in few families, it is because these few families are beneficiaries of the unbalance civil military relationship, this has created extractive political system which is the root cause of lawlessness and injustice in Pakistan. as a result of it  the life, property and individual rights of ordinary citizen hold no value in front of these political elite.

Uncontrolled Population growth:

The population of Pakistan at the time independence was 32.5 million is has now exponentially increase to 241.5 million in short span of six decades. this exponential increase in population has put a large amount of pressure on the natural as well as man made resources of Pakistan. it has put a lot of hindrance  in achieving social and economic development to checkup with the rapidly developing world due to this quality of life in Pakistan is deteriorating, it can resolved with proper management and acceptable family planning,

Pakistan is going through a lot of difficulties in term of socio economic development, poverty , security challenges ,  foreign relation, political instability , water scarcity, climate change, infrastructure development , health and educational crisis but in opinion these difficulties arises due to the above mention problem of Pakistan and these cannot be resolved until and unless the above mention five major issued are addressed and resolved
